As I prepare for the CSM Postgraduate show, I wonder if it might be time to move on from the LAMELLA:// project. This short film may or may not be part of it although it is certainly related. Perhaps it’s a new work-in-progress. For now, I am calling it Birth Film, Printer and Blue Landscape. It is made with fragments that have appeared in why is there an astronaut in a field of flowers/ as well as the LAMELLA:// project. I think I will show this film in the exhibition in the room opposite to where the LAMELLA:// print will be.
The alternative is this short film, which I need to extend to about three minutes referencing the image I have used in LAMELLA://.
I am also waiting for 25 copies of a LAMELLA:// booklet to arrive (which I hope are good enough at the first delivery, since things have not been due to printing errors in previous print runs and proofs).
