I’m sure there is something to do with these bloody emoji’s but I’ve not found it yet. The same with Snapchat filters but I”m going to have to come back to them too. Also I think I used the wrong emoji here – I much prefer that the one with the teeth or the zipped mouth. Will keep trying….
This is a helpful mistake which I think tells me about the double direction of the title The Invention of Childhood -i.e. an anthropological view as well as a moving forward, reconstructing a better version of my history. There is a looseness to this which I like and should try to embrace more and the negative space is certainly a valid element. I think about how we see – how the eye works, having to fill in the details. (Will probably want to include that in a project about seeing at some point).
